This privacy policy applies to modernhomeinspo.com ("Modern Home Inspo," "we," "our"). The site publishes interior design guides and hosts the Modern Home Inspo Room Visualizer tool.
Information We Collect
Visitors to the site
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect standard web analytics data: pages visited, approximate geographic region, browser and device type, and referring source. GA4 data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors. IP addresses are anonymised.
Contact form submissions
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
Room Visualizer users
The Room Visualizer tool asks you to upload a room photo. When you use the Visualizer:
- Your uploaded image is stripped of EXIF metadata (location, device information) before processing.
- Images are stored temporarily for processing only and deleted automatically within 24–72 hours.
- You can request immediate deletion of your uploaded image at any time using the delete option in the tool.
- Uploaded images are not shared publicly, used in advertising, or used to train AI models without your explicit opt-in consent.
- Image URLs are private and signed — they are not accessible to other users.
Email List (Mailchimp)
If you provide your email address through the Room Visualizer or any future email signup, your address is stored in Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us directly.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies. Analytics cookies may be set by our analytics provider. No advertising cookies or retargeting cookies are set on this site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Mailchimp — email list management
- OpenAI — image generation for the Room Visualizer (images are processed server-side; your room photo is not sent to OpenAI for any purpose other than generating the remodel preview you requested)
